  15. I absolutely love almost everything about Ja’Marr, but what’s the point of a contract anymore? He’s obligated, by contract, to play for the Bengals for two more years, kind of. Let’s not talk now about the generational wealth created by the dreaded franchise tag at this moment.

    If he was a bust, could the Bengals have just pretended they weren’t under contract with him?

    Shut up, show up, and do your job. That’s what you agreed to when you signed your first contract.

    Ja’Marr 100% deserves every dollar of the millions coming to him. Some play for money, some play for championships, some are lucky enough to be represented by agents who can make both dreams come true.

    This is a distraction. An unnecessary distraction created by a society represented by those who will never have enough in their view.

    Be grateful Ja’Marr, you are one blessed dude. And a hell of a dude at that. It would suck if you lose out on a championship this year because you need to feed your ego by temporarily being the highest paid wide receiver.

  20. I actually don’t like our starters playing in preseason games. You have to remember, they’re gonna be playing against guys that are fight for rooster spots on the other side. Usually that means they’re gonna be playing very hard which could lead to unnecessary injury’s to our starters. Like you said, we have joint practices that our starters could use to shake rust off. IMO.

  22. Im old enough to remember when contracts were the last story on the ticker, and we focused on ball! Now this obsession with these already rich athlete's money is extremely annoying. Media, and society has encouraged so many diva mentalities by making this nonsense the main conversation smh. We should be way more focused on team building and playing for a superbowl instead of making every damn player the highest paid player in history for 2 weeks 😑🤦🏾
