The #chicagocubs aren’t dead yet. That’s two straight over their arch rival #cardinals after Thursday night’s comeback win.

Newly acquired #erickfedde took it on the chin in his debut, allowing a pair of HRs to #christianbetancourt and #michaelbusch. He allowed 5 ER.

#javierassad wasn’t great, lasting just 4 innings, but he pitched out of big jams early and the bullpen did enough to preserve the win, with #hectorneris locking up his 15th save.

#kap then has some fun at the Cardinals expense. 😉🤣

  2. With Azolay being "out for the season" does that mean he comes back for a repeat performance next year? Sheesh… time to accept that 2016 WAS next year, this team is lost.

  5. Bethancourt is looking way better than Amaya right now. Good at the plate today and Wednesday and his throw to third on Wednesday was so good the ump couldn't believe it and had to get it reviewed. Amaya couldn't catch Bertolo Colon trying to steal.

  14. Fans here know the game, so I have a question. Tauchman was barely halfway to second when Swanson touched home. Why did Tauchman get credit for a double? The game was over before he got near 2d. Of course if the scoring was changed on that, never mind.
