Fish you should clarify when you say that the new contract will create room.
What's really happening is the team is then converting the present year salary into future debt and prorating it over the next 5 years.
Technically speaking it's the proration that creates the salary cap room not the new contract and in the case of Dak Prescott, since he already has the void years, they could do the proration right now without a new contract.

Luepke is the fullback, with this group, a fullback will come in handy. Luepke can also play TE in a pinch. He can play on special teams. I would keep him over Vaughn! Unless Vaughn has an over the top camp, I would cut him, keep Zeke, Dowdle, Freeman and Luepke. That would be my RB room.
