The Spurs are cheap, they don’t want to pay players and spend the money needed to win.
We have the poorest owners in the NBA and they put profit above all else. Even if that means selling the fans a poor product, which is what they’re doing. It’s not a good roster, they could have put together a good roster – chose to intentionally lose again… smh
Either a guy who hasn’t watched a minute of Spurs basketball or rage bait. Either way, just laugh it off, we know what we got
Lumping Vassell and KJ together as the same type of player is the first sign that this person knows nothing about the team.
The post is wrong with their player takes but also wrong about one guy being a young core. In basketball 1 guy, especially if that guy is at the level of Wemby, can change everything for a franchise.

I hate discourse. Vassell and Johnson aren’t perfect players, so they must be awful players! Like there’s just never an in between.
I don’t even think the Spurs core is great, but every core has flaws, it’s fine
To be fair, I don’t think Vassell is Wemby’s “Klay Thompson”, but he’s a good player. I don’t know that they have a Robin to their Batman yet. But this team will be much improved with the veterans they’ve brought on.
