  5. I agree with you Derrick when you said that Josh Reynolds deserved to be paid, he was always consistent, and he came up clutch when we needed him to a couple times. Last year WE DID NOT NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED DPJ!!!! WE NEEDED DEFENSE!!! But to answer your question, DPJ was Probably for the future!

  7. Your reading to much into this chief. These two transactions weren't linked to each other at all. And by the way, no matter if Jamo balls out or not, Josh Reynolds is going to be missed more than most know! He was a 1st down machine and it's hard to replace that.

  8. No. I think the Lions would've resigned Reynolds if he would've caught those passes in the NFC title game. I think the backlash got to him. I think DPJ was to replace Marvin Jones depth.

  9. Chark…Jamaal…Reynolds…the Lions always prevail. 5 TDs they can make up for…so the Lions need to figure out 618 yards. St. Brown +150 yds, Jamo + 500 yds at least, LaPorta +150 yards and +2 TDs, Raymond + 200 yds, Monty + 150 yds, Gibbs + 450 yds, plus about 250 yards from randoms. If all else fails 5 teams will cut decent WRs that can get 300 or so yards. If the Lions wanted him he would still be here. If Goff wanted him he would still be here

  11. All good points.Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell are not beyond criticism. The WR position is a concern . Jamo is doing well in camp ,but will that translate to the regular season. They could have drafted a WR. I don't get too excited about how players perform in camp good or bad, how many times have we seen camp darlings disappear, and not perform when the season starts. WR, kicker, backup QB, OL dept ,and #2 edge are all a concern.

  14. We couldn't keep Josh and pay who we did, and we knew who Jameson was, we just needed a full year! Think DPJ is here to help, not so sure it was a replacement!

  15. I'm sure they gave him a number, and a team that was desperate for a WR offered more. I think DPJ was a backup plan. Which is cool. I thought DPJ would show up even though it looked like he didn't want to be here. Now I'm concerned. If we don't get a DE, I think we should look at WRs.

  17. I think Reynolds deserved one. The Loss of his production, his leadership, and the knowledge that he had of the Offense and Goff was huge, and will be missed more than what we think. Joins hasn't produced much in Training Camp??

  18. And Brad knew he was gonna want to get paid and the Lions had better options. So yes they knew and planned. Brad seems to be playing chess while the rest of us ar playing checkers
