Ya’ know, there’s good days in baseball, and there’s bad days. The Astros just had themselves a bad day..

  2. Fun fact! Over the last 30 days, the Astros have the 4th worst team OPS in the league!

  3. I’m not looking forward to the next series against the Rangers. What an abysmal display from the offense since the ASB.

  4. Depending on our opponent in this BAD division shows this team doesn’t have it.

Our pitching isn’t the problem, they’ve been besieged by injury.

The bats haven’t been good enough. Flat out. Yordan, Tuck, and Tuve shouldn’t have to do everything.

Cintron and Snitker need to go in the off-season. We need a new offensive approach.

  5. Im gonna assume that tucker likely isnt coming back this year.

I think the month might actually kill any hope for a post season appearance. On any given day we are running out 3 maybe 4 people who are simply not very good hitters. This puts a massive responsibility on the top 3 guys who just arent going to perform well enough to make up for running out chas, meyers, dubon, and singelton.

This isnt a winning team without tucker and at least one more bat. Offense is simply too flat.

  6. Truly baffling. I don’t know what our plate approach was supposed to be tonight, but it didn’t work.

  7. This L was on me. I finally get a free Saturday from work to watch and this happens. I’ll take one for the team and stick to watching the highlights on YouTube

  8. Wow the 10th inning show on Sportstalk 790 I had to turn it off after that guy called Tucker a wuss for not playing

  9. It’s like Astros and the Mariners are playing an un-funny game of Trading Places.

  10. You aren’t beating anyone with that lack of offense. Pedro has some good moments in his debut though. His arm can definitely play in right when and if Tucker ages out, leaves or agrees to move somewhere else.

  11. The dog days of August. We’ve run outta gas after a helluva run. Carrying slumps. It’ll be a rough few weeks. We will still be thereabouts in the mix at the end of Sept.
