  1. The Braves have played some awful baseball this year. No excuses. But the last two games I've NEVER seen so many bad calls all go against one team. Guys were getting called for swinging when they barely took the bat off their shoulder, they were getting called strikes all over the place. It was very frustrating to watch. I don't think it mattered today, but it matters in a one run game like yesterday and it was infuriating.

  2. On the scoring/not scoring play, Riley should have went to 3rd on the throw home! He stood on 2nd looking like he was watching the play from the dugout! He could have scored on the wild pitch if on 3rd instead of 2nd!! Anyway, having a lead boosts the confidence, and the Braves Didn't have a lead or confidence! The bats were basically quiet all day after that play! Don't know what the 3rd base coach was doing on that play, maybe he can only handle 1 runner per play! What does the hitting coach do, load up the Pitching machine?

  3. 17 games in 16 days. Sheesh I can imagine they might have been a bit tired in today’s game. Hopefully Jorge starts to click at the plate going forward. When he does it’ll really spark the top of the lineup. A tough couple days but gotta pick up and move forward to prepare for a series at home against the Brewers

  4. Great show. Thanks. a telling at bat was Kellnic when there were runners on 1st and 2nd with no outs and he strikes out on a couple of ugly pitches. No runs scored or even runners moved up a base. I think he actually failed at bunting them over before the K. Wish he could get it together. Glad to see Riley and Olson doing much better.

  5. I am befuddled , frustrated and confused. Even though we split with Marlins, truthfully we struggled all weekend to score runs.
We need , as fans, stop making excuses For this team.
I am a total Braves fan and am , as others, disappointed.
Soler, whom I like, has had 2 hits sad once returning to Braves. Olson et al are just not performing to their potential.
It is what it is; that’s the long/short of discussion!

  6. Very devastating loss this one is. This is a disjointed and inconsistent team. The key issue with this offense is their lack of ability to manufacture runs.
