5 minutes later “breaking news- the browns have now been eliminated from possible destinations”
20 minutes later “the browns have traded for aiyuk and he is getting a 100% gaurenteed deal”

Kinda wonder, since 49ers fans indicate Miaocco is sometimes the teams mouthpiece ala MKC, whether this got leaked to try and either get the browns/pats to up their offers to Aiyuk, or to get someone else to pony up, like the Steelers

I could see the Browns trade Cooper and a pick to get him. Cooper is 30 and we all know WR’s tend to taper off and lose speed at that age. Not saying Cooper is falling off but let’s be honest. The Browns aren’t going to keep him long term.
You get an upcoming young wide receiver with the same skill set. I’ll take the younger guy.

Curious to see if Aiyuk even wants to play for us. I recall home saying he only wanted to go to the commanders or the steelers. Guess money will talk in the end
