7. I like your assessment of this deal. Im personally not sold on Laine but i can live with the package going out, with money retained. I did like Struble, from what i saw of him last year.

Montreal has lots of temptations in that city for people coming out the NHL programs. I understand the prospects, and maybe a D man but not all the picks as well. We still have to pay a troubled player over

    Laine before last year had back to back ppg seasons on pace for 30+ goals. None of his injuries are lingering and would literally be your best player.

    With 25% retained and taking back the shitty Dvorak and people think a 2nd the worst one to boot, a nothing defensive prospect and another nothing prospect somehow moves the needle?

    I get you guys haven't had a 35+ goal scorer in what 25 years? I would gladly move an actual decent package from Vancouver for Laine at 6 million.

    Garland an actual good player who scores 40-50 points with little pp time and minutes, 20+ goals as well. I'd then offer a 2nd and Linus Karlson the all better than any of that habs garbage.

    Him next to JT or EP he would be a ppg 45+ goal scorer. Sadly the habs 1c would literally be our 3c so Laine might only get 30 /60 but that's no Laines fault. He also wouldn't have a Quinn or Hronek feeding him the puck.

14. Laine is NOT being traded to Montreal . All of these trade scenarios are written by wannabe fake insiders and Internet bloggers. There is no concrete information that Montreal is even interested. The only news that came out from a legit source is that the Minnesota Wild are interested in Laine

16. If Montreal needs a SNIPER. Thats Laine. He can burry shots with ease. Especially in a different environment he can play better. Lots of people forget what he’s been through. Injuries, His Father Passing. That affects his game.

    Laine in Montreal who has lots of playmakers. And not many Snipers. I would Class Laine Over Caufield in terms of Goalscoring.

17. I’m a huge Bruins fan, however I was living in Ohio the year the Jackets came into the league. So I’ve always had an interest in how they do. I’m very hopeful that Waddell and Evason can get them going in the right direction and bring them some consistent success in the playoffs.

22. This has got to be the tenth time Laine has gone to the Habs the past few weeks. Rumors are fun…for the first month or so after the cup finals, but wow, I can't wait until the season starts!…. How long now? I'll take training camp at this point!

23. Waddell claims he's only talked to one team about Laine (bullshit) I believe he's talked to at least 4-5 teams and I believe Wpg is one of them due to the McGroarity situation!!
    There's a ton of misinformation being thrown out there by Columbus and the teams that are after Laine, most local Canadian media outlets will say just about anything right now to gin up some buzz cause they have nothing else to attract eyes & ears this time of year!!!
