  1. Can imagine a Browns deal would bring Cooper while a Patriots deal would involve higher draft picks.

  2. Talk about football purgatory. But if Aiyuk really wants the bag, then good luck to him. Grass isn’t always greener. Just ask Davante Adams

  3. At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if the FO is leaking this stuff to scare Aiyuk into signing the extension.

  4. Seems like a trade, now more than ever, is inevitable. It’s going to be hard to get anything back that matches Aiyuk’s actual value.

But that’s also the reality of the NFL where there are going to be cap casualties.

  5. Yuck. I wouldn’t want Amari Coopper or Kendrick Bourne. I hope Aiyuk rejects both of those teams.

  6. Niners can’t be serious about trading him for bourne unless they get someone like judon back. That would be insane.

  7. Cooper, sure. I don’t know what we would do with Bourne. That’s gotta favor the Browns

  8. We’re not getting an equally talented WR in return? sounds like a terrible trade especially if we’re built to win now and I mean this year. It gets harder afterwards.

  9. With Purdy’s massive contract on the horizon, it is inevitable that we would lose some stars. In a way this makes it easier. Obviously the Niners already anticipated this scenario when they drafted Pearsall. It just sucks because this year really is the make-or-break year to win the Superbowl while we have Purdy on the super-cheap rookie contract.

  10. Even though how this transpired is completely unacceptable. The niners have aiyuk at checkmate. Play for two teams that in probably 3 years you’ll be looking for another contract due to bad qb play or block those trades and weakens your trade stance immensely. Or which we all hope is he comes back to the niners. Can this relationship be repaired?

  11. With those two options he might just prefer to stay a niner for another season or at least until the trade deadline, and get a contract somewhere else then.

  12. Hopefully we get an OL guy. Need to get some time to throw the ball to one of the weapons that isn’t BA.

  13. Hahahaha let’s see his bluff! Or, take the fuckin few extra mil for a shit team. 👋

  14. Damn, just get this dude off the team already. It’s clear he doesn’t want to be a 49er, so show him the door

  15. Kyle must have a lot of faith in Pearsall. I have no idea why this trade would go through without strength from him and also a good trade deal from these teams

  16. As far as trading him I would be happy to send him to the Patriots so there’s no chance of him ever hurting us.

  17. I cant believe it’s come this far over a couple mil. I’d love him back, but if he’s dead set on a trade I prefer a Browns trade for the potential return. A side note, a Pats trade would be kind of hilarious when the Pats inevitably suck again, I’d like to see if he becomes visibly frustrated throughout the season

  18. Not sure why they’d trade him this season unless he’s been a pain in the ass and they’re just done with having him around.

  19. Honestly tho… how much will your life REALLY change if you make 24M instead of 28-30M?

Like, your off the field lifestyle would be essentially identical. But your on the field life could be so much better. In one scenario you get to stay with an elite organization with the most innovative offensive mind of a generation.

Easy for me to say, surely.
