[Wilson] #Chargers worked out Re-al Mitchell, Luis Perez and Isaiah Wooden

Looks like the sub missed this yesterday, Perez getting a look is very interesting

For those who are unaware, Luis Perez is a QB who just won the XFL championship (and MVP of the championship game). Feels like this is likely some competition for Duggan because it looks like he has really been struggling the last few years.
Unrelated personal side note: I played against Re-al Mitchell when he was at St. John Bosco my freshman year of high school and he was an unbelievable high school QB. Looks like he became a WR in college though, so I’m not sure what position they’d be looking at him for here.
Obviously not seeing what they want in either stick or duggan. Tbf duggan was never that great, I believe they picked him up to try and ease Davis and Johnston in. And as stick said, he’s not Herbert, which yeah he isn’t but as we’ve seen, there are plenty of back up QBs ghat are serviceable enough to get the job done if need be. That being said, I feel like the staff might be a bit more worried with Herbert’s injury than they let on if they’re working out other QB options because if they were happy with the backups I don’t think they’d be working other guys out.
Savion Jackson was just released, presumably for one of these guys.
The Easton stick hate is wildly uncalled for. The debut game was awful but the entire team had given up.
In the rest of the games he was able to keep it competitive and looked like an average backup with underutilized upside with his legs. I don’t see why they would replace him.
I love that this front office is looking to improve EVERYWHERE on the roster.
