The baseball season is long enough to guarantee that every possible weakness of every team becomes exposed over the course of 162 games. What has become evident, is that Vientos is a defensive liability at 3rd base, JD Martinez is not that good, Pete Alonso has regressed and is definitely not a leader on the team and Marte can't stay healthy, and everyone on the team plays down to the level of their competition. The teams most frustrating and painful shortcomings come to light against their weakest opponents.
