  1. The comment section on that video looks a lot like here and twitter when it comes to Petey.

  2. It’s up to Pettersson to change the narrative. He’s got his bag now, time to deliver.

  3. make no mistake, the guy not coming alive in the playoffs absolutely cost us against Edmonton. But people trying to say that Pettersson isn’t elite or worth his 8×11.6 which, even for a 90-100 point center will look fantastic in just a few years, don’t know what they’re talking about. Hope he can get his injuries under control but i have faith he will light it up next year.

  4. No one is doubting whether Petey has top 5 potential in the league (which he’s getting paid like), but many are now in the wait-and-see camp, as he’s shown lots of inconsistency throughput his young career so far.

  5. He can do it. I’ve seen him do it. He just hasn’t been. And he needs to. That’s all it boils down to. It doesn’t matter how much you’re willing to support and defend him. It’s up to him to figure it out.

  6. People turning on him after an abysmal playoffs and saying he sucks and is a bust have no fricking idea what they’re talking about.

Way to take a small sample size of a decent career so far and claim he’s a bust. Oh, brother. Probably the same fans who thought we should give Zadorov the money he wanted after the playoffs.

He’s young and determined. He can and has carried this team on his back at times and I believe he can bounce back this season.

  7. With how good that second line is going to look like this year, they could be a deadly line during season and post season.

  8. Petey is a great player who is somewhat weak physically, a problem which should go away as he gains old man strength, who struggles with inconsistency from time to time, mystery solved
