  1. Getting anything other than Pickens or cooper back is abject failure. Even that is somewhat of a failure

  2. Help me out here. Aiyuk is and wants to be a great WR. Where in the World will he find a better offense to show off his talent? Is he physically great and mentally deficient or what?

  3. He’s just literally asking for too much money, right? If the team had a deal in place and it was really contingent on Aiyuk working out a deal, he asked for more than they’d pay. Which is seemingly a trend … its possible he’s not getting the best advice.

  4. So Aiyuk wanted to be paid more than the 49ers were offering. A team offered him a bigger contract and he didn’t want to sign cause they are not contenders? Is this guy a NFL player or a teenage girl. Wtf does he actually want? Guy has zero leverage, niners tried to do right by him when they didn’t have to and he still wants to be a drama queen. Ship his ass away

  5. I mean pretty simple and what a lot of people were saying yesterday, which is that the Browns and Patriots were pretty much used as patsies to either jack up the haul from the Steelers or convince Aiyuk the best situation is to sign the Niners extension or play out his contract. End of the day I think Niners and the Steelers are the only two teams in the conversation that he would play for, so it becomes an issue of whether or not the Steelers can meet the price for both Aiyuk and the Niners. At this point I’d say it’s 50/50 whether he ends up a Steeler or stays a Niner.

  6. To me this plays to the Niners advantage.

You want this much; we are willing to give you this much. Everyone willing to pay you what you want sucks and you don’t want to be there.

    So now there’s three opinions.

    1) Play on the final year of the contract
    2) Accept our extension
    3) Sit out (potential ruin your career).

  7. Dude is starting to remind me of Jordan Poole in the sense that he’s putting his own success and fame over the rest of the team. Not a perfect comp but pretty similar IMO.

  8. I thought they had a frame work done or did they jump out when he heard the Agent’s demands?

  9. How long do you think they give him before they rescind this offer to make Trent good?

  10. Just so yall know, niners agreed to a trade, this was all reliant upon BA agreeing to terms and he said he doesnt want to play for the pats, they were willing to make him one of the top 5 highest paid receivers in the league and this man still said no like bruh make up your mind already

  11. Lynch probably laughed at the KB offer anyway. Unless the Patriots were including a 1st rd pick in that combo, the Niners don’t need to deal with them.

  12. BA is good but this is showing everyone he secretly a diva. Just play your damn contract and stop pretending you weren’t open cause Deebo was doubled

  13. Dude doesn’t wanna play there. And we’re not gonna get a bunch of picks from KC or Baltimore… so he’s kinda stuck

  14. I know it’s the offseason, so there isn’t a lot of NFL news in general, but so much attention for a very good, not elite, wide receiver. You just know Aiyuk is loving all this attention. Just watch what he says on the Pivot show regarding how for years he kept his mouth shut and took a backseat or how hyped he was when TMZ was interviewing him at an airport. The man is also filming a documentary of all of this. It feels like one of the reasons he’s doing this is to give a headache to Shanahan and Lynch especially the former for putting him in the dog house his second year. Not to mention his tweet something along the lines of “don’t forget how you got here” or his family members posting on their respective social media accounts about Aiyuk’s contract after the Super Bowl.

  15. It genuinely seems like this decision is difficult for him. I’m not sure if he knows what he wants from what’s on the table. Good on him for exploring his options though. I hope things work out for him.

  16. Get this fucking guy off the team already. Biggest diva in the entire league

  17. I honestly think this is the 49ers showing him that he’s not worth as much as he’s asking for.

  18. I dont understand his thinking. I’m assuming we have offered him around 25-28M/yr for at least 3 years. Why would he walk away from his football family and a chance to win a Super Bowl over a few million a year? He’ll have zero chance of winning shit on any of the AFC teams mentioned in trade talks.

  19. BA, if you want a bag, you’re going to a developing team. A developed team won’t give you or the 49ers what either want. This is how life works
