Im not mad about it, very solid safety
Follow up tweet from Nick Underhill:
“I don’t know that safety is a massive need. But adding someone like Simmons to that group would take the defense up a notch for sure. Kind of similar to Tyrann in how he plays and that he’s good at everything.”
This is exciting and all, but I really hope we don’t spend a lot.
How much can we pay him? Surely he wants more than what we got right?

Side note, I saw Jeffrey Simmons and Willie Gay recently together at a bar
I mean I wouldn’t be displeased but it’s definitely not a need and I’d rather see us sign some more offensive depth. Guys like Renfrow, Vaitai, and Humphries would make me feel more confident that we don’t become the Great Value version of the 2018 Bears
