  1. Not a good look for Kadarius Toney.

LRZ low on the depth chart but thats to be expected.

Skyy and Ross over Nikko and Hardman at WR, but ahead on the return teams.

  2. Six starters on defense and six starters on offense are on their rookie contracts. I wonder how that compares to other teams.

It makes me a little nervous about what could happen if the front office has a bad draft in the next couple years.

  3. Wait, our punter is wearing 49? What happened to the NFL? This madness has to stop.

  4. Skyy is actually ahead of Hardman and Toney on the depth chart? I thought he was having a subpar camp, unless he turned it around very quickly.

  5. Ross makes sense but I don’t see why Skyy Moore would be in over Hardman. That being said, the entirety of my exposure to training camp has been highlights and rookie analysis by beat writers, so I really don’t know jack lol

  6. Huge win for Skyy Moore. I think if the Chiefs can avoid him and Toney being on the roster together then having one is probably tolerable. Will also preserve Mahomes’ sanity. He’s really turned it around in camp at least. One of the few receivers who can regularly get the better of Trent McDuffie.

If I had to guess, Chiefs will roster 2 QB, 10 OL, 6 WR, 3 TE, 3 RB, and 1 FB all in the order of depth, assuming depth remains the way it stands today. That’s your 25 offensive players on the 53 man roster.

  7. IMO, any WR expected to play meaningful snaps for the year should not be placed as kick/punt returners. With kickoffs expected to have an increased rate of contact by a wide margin compared to last season, Worthy and Hardman should not be listed as returners. Let Nikko or LRZ work on the returning duties.

  8. I wonder how much current injuries are being considered in their positioning.

Derrick Nnadi and Charles Omenihu are lower than expected, but they have been out with injury. Toney is arguably lower than expected and he has missed some time.

However, Jaylen Watson and Justin Reid have also missed a large amount of time, but still listed as expected.

  9. Rice is undisputedly WR1. After Kelce, he is by far Mahomes’ favorite target and security blanket.
