  1. Possum was more interesting than anything about this game tonight. Hard to imagine this team remains in first for much longer playing like this.

  2. # Congrats, Freddie on Double #500!

    And

    # 13-Game Hitting Streak!

  3. we knew this series wouldn’t be easy, even with them coming in with a cold streak. thankfully we got some reinforcements on the way, so let’s hope the team can keep clawing out some wins in the meantime.

  4. Literally all we do is have a good game and then go ice cold the next. So bipolar bro

  5. Really hate the idea of a potential NLCS that runs through Philly. Terrified honestly.

  6. I don’t think I saw a coach who waves the white flag more than Roberts does

  8. Thought the Phillies were slumping 😩. But on a serious note the playoffs are gonna be tough as hell if we make it. The Padres , Phillies own us and Braves , Dabcks will be tough as well

  9. Kersh had a good outing and Honeywell saved the bullpen arms for a series win tomorrow.

  10. Shohei top five in mlb in almost every batting category.

    Exception? Hitting with RISP.
    Averaging .250
    That’s good for 92nd!

Was this a thing on the Angels?
He hit .317 with RISP in 2022.
    .314 in 2021.

It’s a dodgers thing. He put on our uniform and got infected with this.

  11. This game was in reach until Graterol’s injury. After that the vibes never really came back and the offense wasted a few opportunities to create some true momentum. Honeywell did his job, which was to save our bullpen for tomorrow. Hopefully Stone can give us at least 5 solid innings. Win tomorrow for the series win and continue the Phillies series losing streak.

EDIT: Doc saying it’s a grade 3 hamstring for Graterol.

  12. Let’s get ’em tomorrow. The Phillies are bringing a RHP starter so that means Lux back in the lineup, and hopefully Miguel Rojas gets back soon as well to replace Ahmed.

Pages was excellent today and looks at home in a corner outfield spot. Teoscar continues to mash. Honeywell ate innings better than Yohan or Yarbrough. There’s a lot of good to take out of tonight.

  13. Graterol hamstring is not a big deal … Orel saying it’s a strain … Dehydration …which begs the question what the fuck is our training staff doing???

  14. Wasted a good start by Kershaw. He got the L but it really belonged to the offense.

  15. Graterol’s injury just makes me believe even more that regular seasons need to be shorter. There’s no way in hell they’re ever gonna tell pitchers to throw softer, so realistically only thing to do is lessen the amount of games they need to play.

  16. It’s my fault. I should’ve done my gdm dishes and taken out the trash and recycling instead of sitting around in the AC masturbating to the fanfiction theater of my mind. 😒

  17. When are the hitting coaches going to get a little more scrutiny? Haven’t seen the success stories we use to see. More like regression stories.

  18. White Sox don’t continue streak, dodgers lose, and graterol is out rest of season.

    Not a good day
