  1. In a word, "understandable". I never got my hopes up with him. Some guys want money, some guys wanna win, some guys require both (or at least not losing a lot). I think Pats will net 7-10 wins this year, but until that happens many fans and players think we're gonna get 4 wins again. I'm super pumped regardless, and as this off-season has been my most attentive, I want to thank Chat Sports for all the updates. Go Pats!!

  2. Good, cause i want more of patriot style wideouts, maybe not true number 1s but not whiny little diva bitches tuat think they are God's gift to the NFL, ill take edelman, welker, amendola, brown, meyers style wideouts over those whiners

  3. Thank GOD. We need all our future assets. Build from the ground. Even if it takes 3 years… take the time. He isn't even a top 5 receiver. Fans seem so desperate for a #1 Wide Receiver. I'd say… let's play out this season to see what we have and draft accordingly

  4. How is it great news our receivers suck and can’t stay healthy, polk has fallen off and baker has drop issues, Tyquan can’t stay healthy we have no speed, literally Douglas is our best receiver

  5. There is alot of questions marks, but it is a wonderful franchise to be apart of. Got a rookie coach, Rookie QB, rebuild, you just let go of one of the greatest coaches of all time, and coming off of a 4-13 season. Trust me NE, you are fine without him right now. Save your money, get through the next season, show up for whoever is on that field, and be ready for your next run. I have faith you will rebound sooner than most think. Best Wishes Boston

  6. Brady & Belichick are not walking through that door.
Why would any top WRs want to go there and catch passes from a career bridge QB?
Pats should really concentrate on drafting studs to grow with the Drake.

  7. Why give up draft picks when you can get Tee Higgins in FA next year. Pats will have a ton of cap space so they will have no one to blame but themselves if they don't land a WR1 in 2025. Keep the farm and keep building 2024 is not the year to go all in.

  8. I am HAPPY that we didn’t get him, the guy was probably asking for an arm and a leg in money! Plus those kind of DIVA antics don’t last long in NE. He’s most definitely a star WR. But let’s not forget what kind of offense he was in. They had Deebo, kittle, and Mccaffery! If hes gonna go to any other team, he won’t have much shine as he did in San Francisco. Because the defense had to worry about all the other star players on offense than Aiyuke. I feel like he might go to the browns, Steelers or even the commanders. I know he isn’t interested in NE or the Steelers. The browns did make it to the playoffs last season, but mostly got carried by their defense and Joe flacco. The reason why I think he might go to the commanders is because he talks to Jayden Daniel’s a lot. They do have Terry McLauren, but they also lost Curtis Samuel. They might pull a page from the dolphins having two star WRS in there offensive line up on the commanders. I know that Polk, baker and Douglas will be our promising young WR talent this season. I’d also keep on the lookout for Nyck Harbor. When he does declare for the draft, I really hope that NE is able to draft him because he’s most definitely a unicorn! 💎

  9. This is one too many times a WR1 has passed on the PATS … makes our organization look less attractive to other guys looking to change teams. Ridley passed on us too despite the fact we offered more $. Hope we can get some more talent next draft.

  10. THANK GOD…this dude is asking for WAYYYY too much money. Yeah he’s one of the more talented receivers in the league but he’s not worth nearly as much as he wanted. Patriots should really make a run for Tee Higgins. Younger, cheaper, bigger receiver who would add a skill set this receiving corps desperately needs and a great character guy who’s played in cold weather. We don’t need another receiver who’s 6ft and good at running routes.

  11. It's a blessing. An overpaid prima donna is not going to move the needle for this team right now. We have great young talent that wants to prove themselves and help the team get better.

  12. I’m not mad at the organization, Wolfe, or anyone involved with this like I usually am when we miss out on players. We did everything we could and more. We did what the 9ers wanted and offered Aiyuk more money than any other team, north of $30 million and would make him in the top 5 most paid receivers. He didn’t want to be a Patriot and after a little bit of being sad about that you have to realize we did all we could and we didn’t go overboard and be stupid, we knew it was the right time to back out clearly we gave Aiyuk a chance and he simply didn’t want to be a Patriot. Now it’s time to give Pop, Bourne, Polk, Baker and the other guys a real shot

  13. makes no sense what this guy wants. if he wanted money and to be the guy, this is the spot to be. if he wants to win, take the pay cut and stay w the 49ers, youd win and still be a multi millionaire. no clue why the hell he has a hard on for the steelers, they arent good, their qb is justin fields, pickens is there, and their division is tougher. and also boston>>>pittsburgh. hes a moron

  14. "Relieved"
Maybe worth the money for 1 season, but the dude is not Moss.
The Pats have enough of that size/speed combo. I wouldn't be surprised if someone on the current roster matches Aiyuk's numbers within two years.
