  7. RE: Matheson
    Oilers acquired Brandon Manning after McDavid openly expressed how much he dislikes him (very similar to Matheson and Pettersson situation).
    Pettersson may hate Matheson, but Demko and Matheson are actually good friends off the ice and they attended each other's wedding.
    Not saying the Canucks should acquire him, but it isn't completely out of the realm if management believes he is a fit.

Harm is right, Canucks don't have money for Shea Theadore and he's not coming here. Quads, if Allvin was bringing in a puck moving D to add to his collection which already includes Friedman, Hirose, Wolanin, he wouldn't have brought in 4 wingers. Quads, there is no puck moving D coming here any time soon so just let it go …
