  4. If the Cubs keep this up and win a couple more games and have a record over 500 they have a chance to make the playoffs

    But One thing I know after the season is that we need to release Kyle Hendricks he’s getting up there in age and he’s just been really bad

  14. It's great we're winning but both the Cardinals and the Twins seemed lifeless. Really weird. What happens when we play a good team playing like a good team? Well we won't find out with the Sox. But Cubs need to thrive against talent*. Got to be aggressive hitters and make things happen. But I'd like to take a moment and appreciate that we went from having the worst BP in baseball to having one of the best. That is badass. That along with out excellent starting rotation and it would be reasonable to believe at this point. But our hitters have *got to be making contact and getting balls in play every at bat. No more passive at bats.
