What can be said, folks? After gaining momentum taking the final two games against the Guardians and enjoying a day off, so many things went wrong last night, as fans around Charm City are holding their collective breath on the status of Grayson Rodriguez while simultaneously scratching their heads at some of the strategical decisions made in last night’s loss, along with some player performances. A win here would go a long way towards improving the current vibe, particularly with Trevor Rogers getting the start, his second as an Oriole after a not-too-impressive debut. It’s situations like this, where it feels like the deck is stacked against us, where it is most important to show you can bounce back, by any means necessary. It should be a tense affair, not for the faint of heart. So grab a snack, a cold one or six and enjoy the ballgame. Thank yooooouuuuuu.

Due to a variety of reasons and unexpected circumstances, this former staff writer for the Premier League gets to return to his original passion, starting his own project – covering Orioles baseball all season long.
