  1. Very fun show tonight ๐Ÿ˜…..

Looking at free agency 2026 or 2027 are the potential windows for Brooklyn to potentially go after a star to pair with the top prospects they draft along with the current core or sign some quality vets to be competitive….

It really depends on the 2025 draft and if Brooklyn can select either Cooper Flagg or Ace Bailey and strike gold in 2026 with AJ or Boozer ๐Ÿ˜ณ ๐Ÿ”ฅ the possibilities would be endless with the draft capital and big cap space at Brooklyn's disposal….

But most likely Brooklyn will use at least these next 3 years to develop a structure, build a main core of homegrown talent, and establish an identity to uplift Brooklyn's market back to prominence…..

Hopefully if Brooklyn can hit the right balance during these next two drafts and let the pieces organically come together this new Brooklyn era is going to be an exciting journey ๐Ÿ™ ๐Ÿ˜Ž…..

  2. Looking at potential options in free agency at least these next two years most star free agents wil re-up with some teams while players like Brandon Ingram Jimmy Butler and Julius Randle could be available. Ingram unfortunately has had a very mixed career where he's shown glimpses of being a strong scorer but has been mired by consistent injury issues. Plus he apparently wants a $200 million contract which would be way too much to invest in Ingram. Jimmy Butler is still a strong player but due to his age he's likely going to want to compete with at least two stars and doesn't make sense while Randle could add that interior bully ball that Brooklyn needs but he's a mixed bag when it comes to health and given his contract situation Brooklyn would be better suited looking elsewhere.

DeAron Fox is a potential star that could fit in Brooklyn's team around 2026 and could add quality scoring and speed to Brooklyn's roster and could work well with the potential draft selections and current core ๐Ÿ‘….

It'll be interesting to see how Brooklyn uses their max cap space in a few years ๐Ÿค”…..

  3. Looking at Cooper Flagg and Ace Bailey Brooklyn wouldn't go wrong without either one of them ๐Ÿ˜ฎ….

Both of them can play the 3 and pairing them with Noah Clowney and Nic Claxton would give Brooklyn a bigger front court which defensively would help Brooklyn go to another level and get away from the unnecessary small ball philosophy ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ”’ ๐Ÿ”ฅ….

The main critiques with Cooper and Ace are their strength conditioning needs to be much better and they can refine some skills within their ball handling skills…. Cooper needs a more consistent shot while Ace needs to improve on ball handling and not rely too much on a jump shot and show more versatility….

Honestly these are not huge issues to correct and both of them have strengths on offense and defense ๐Ÿ”ฅ….

It's going to be fun watching their progress during this college season and may the best prospect earn that top selection ๐Ÿ‘…..

  4. Dylan Harper would meet a need at point guard for Brooklyn and it might take a little longer timeline wise but Harper could help organize this team to get back to the playoffs. However it would require Cam Thomas and Nic Claxton to make big leaps and improve on their weaknesses since they will be the two most important players beside Harper….

But again we should not discount VJ Edegecomb who is going to be the wild card of this draft ๐Ÿ”ฅ. Even though his fit to Thomas could be looked at as unbalanced they would actually compliment each other offensively given Edgecomb has the athletic explosion intangibles that Thomas lacks and Thomas could potentially improve on his playmaking to allow Edgecomb to offensively take over ๐Ÿ”ฅ….

Definitely think Edegecomb and Harper will be battling for that third pick selection….๐Ÿ˜ฎ

  5. @BKNYHOOPS Another emotional episode tonight Breezy came on like heโ€™s some sort of ambassador for Cam Thomas idk why ct fans feel so entitled to speak on ct behalf and defend him like heโ€™s some sort of god or something to them itโ€™s ok to realize that Cam Thomas is just a one dimensional basketball player right now that doesnโ€™t mean he wonโ€™t end up changing his game and it lead to wins

Me personally I think cam will change his game but you wonโ€™t see the changes fully for another couple years shit doesnโ€™t happen over night or in one season

  6. Going more organic in rebuilding the roster, in the future, is the direction I hope the Nets GM is committed to, Drafting and developing mainly is the slowest route to building the roster into a title contender but I think it's the most sensible route.
