The Rangers are 3-9 since the White Sox series. And don't forget 3 of their 4 wins against the White Sox were by 1 run. This is at best a 75-win team. Turn out the lights. The party's over.
This is pretty much it for the Rangers. They've been one of the worst teams I've ever seen following a World Series win. They played pretty good in April. But May, June, July and now August have been one huge disappointment. The A.L. West is such a weak division that Texas should have won the division easily. Instead it looks like the Rangers, Astros and Mariners have been trying to give the division to each other. But the Rangers have been the worst of the three. The whole team has been in a season long slump. I don't know what the answer is to their lack of offense, but things need to be shaken up big time.

As Rangers fans we made the mistake of expecting to see the same offensive production as last year. Most of the team last year had either career years or at least an above average offensive year in ‘23. The same players have had below average years, and some (AG) way below. We hope for better next year, and I am interested to see how our roster changes for’25.
We’re not defending anything, the 2023 championship is ours . The question has been can we gain another championship.

My optimism meter for the rest of this season is on E. Rangers have shown us who they are this season and August is going to sink us. Even if we win a series this month against above .500 teams, we’ll probably follow it up by getting swept the next series. If it wasn’t for a walk off HR by Smith we would have got swept by Houston. We are making MLB pitching debut look like CY nominees. I’m so frustrated with the Rangers this season. 😡
