  1. Nice little write-up about Aatu Raty by Chris Faber.

Kind of interesting to see him talk about the Sedins. It seems like they’re partly skills coaches, partly strength and conditioning coaches, and partly life coaches. I don’t know what they heck they actually DO for the Canucks but I’m glad they do it.

  2. If they keep him on the wing I think he plays NHL games this year and doesn’t go back.

He looked ready when I saw him in training camp but then they stuck him at centre again and he faltered. Put back at wing and ended the season great. Just keep him on the wing guys, jesus.

  3. I’ve always thought he was a long shot with the way he skates but would love to see him carve out an NHL role for himself.

    I really liked this part.

*“It’s not like you’re just on the wing all the time. When you’re playing with skillful players who have good hockey sense, you’re just playing the game,” said Räty. “Everybody’s filling in where they are needed and flowing to the correct position.*”

  4. Boy, I would love to see this guy have a great comeback story. Fingers crossed for him to do well with on the team this year.

  5. It’s nice to have a lot of prospects “looking to impress” this year rather than the dark ages of no prospects doldrums.

  6. Man, if he makes the team and becomes a strong middle 6 player for us, that would be a great return for Horvat.

Hronek and Raty as part of the return? Yes please.

  7. If he becomes remotely close to what he is in previous chel franchise modes I’ll be happy

  8. Raty, podz, lekkerimaki, karlsson, romani, bains, aman and bloom are all going to going to being giving hell for that last spot
