Chevy keeps talking about how the young guys all have a big opportunity this year and I can't help but think he's desperately trying to make McGroarty see that the opportunity is there for him if he can take it.

He is 100% hoping Rutger reads between the lines and so am I.
There needs to be consequences if they fail to step up. When we give the prospect pool their big chance and they fail to deliver…it will be good time to use them as trade chips for other more motivated prospective talent.
This quote from Chevy plus Arniel as the coach almost gives the feeling of a sacrificial, unofficial rebuilding period.
I hope not, but at the same time, we do need another youth movement sooner than later.
Oh good god. The season hasn’t started yet. Fuckin Jets are done already.
A youth movement is the only way to stay under the cap.
