Does everyone in Ohio still hate KD 😂 This still pisses me off

I wouldn’t say I hate him but I am still pissed about him ruining the rivalry. Realistically I think we win in 17 and maybe they win 18 but it just became lopsided. What also pisses me off is him saying 2017 was an even matchup lol

  1. I exclusively refer to snakes as Kevin Durants in my kids abc books

He stole what should have been the greatest modern championship rivalry in sport

  2. I never stopped hating him. Same for Curry. Beyond curing cancer, I will never root for those guys

  3. I don’t hate anyone in sports because of sports. I honestly only hate you if you’re a Miles Bridges type.

  4. Warriors Cavs 2017 should have been super evenly matched if the Cavs depth would have shown up. Korver shot 31%, Frye not playable, RJ couldn’t shoot, TT went soft on the boards, Shump couldn’t put together any offense.

  5. In just Ohio? He is widely hated throughout the country. He alienated OKC, NYC, and has done jack all in Phoenix, soon to alienate that fan base as well.

  6. I Don’t hate kd bc I like watching high level basketball and he a top tier scorer also kind of gives a low key laid back personality similar to myself. that was a superteam gsw had 10000% tho not an even matchup they had 2 mvp caliber players

  7. I actually don’t hate him but it definitely cost the Cleveland Cavaliers at least one more chip 🏆 maybe in 2017 or 2018. That has to sting a little as a Cavs fan.

  8. I live in Cincinnati so I can answer for the rest of the state. Yes the entire state still hates him.

  9. I don’t, some people will do anything to win; you can’t be upset that he did what he could to win and ended up winning. KD is a top 20 player OAT, even with the asterisk on his championships.

  10. The only thing that would slightly redeem KD in my eyes is if he went back to OKC and won a chip with that young squad. The way he dipped out on that fan base was worse than what Lebron did in 2010 IMO

  11. KD cost Lebron from
Being the undisputed goat and he cost Cleveland 2 championships at least

  12. Absolute copium from KD but I can’t blame him at this point because he’s gotta try to justify his bitch move or else he genuinely doesn’t have any rings worth saying he earned. Biggest waste of a good career earning no real chips and the clock is ticking on his time left

  13. That series was a little closer than it felt looked if Korver hit that three… might’ve been an all time series.

But come on KD… it wasn’t even after you joined

  14. Zero chance KD actually believes a top 5 player in the league walking onto a 70 win team is fair. Hence why he left, he got zero credit for a reason

  15. Yes. Saw a comment online yesterday that we were two minutes away from KD playing for Serbia in 2028 and have laughed since.

  16. Nah, wasn’t pleased with the move but I try to never hate on great athletes.

Having said that, the teams can’t be evenly matched top to bottom when a reigning MVP joins a 73-win team. League missed out on an evenly matched third championship series against the Cavs and Warriors.

Would have loved to have seen another championship, but nothing can take away from those four years.

  17. Hate is a strong word but I don’t love the guy. Being a smug prick just rubs me the wrong way regardless of what you do for a living. Life is too short to walk around picking fights with people. 🤷🏻‍♂️

  18. Dude has 0 loyalty to teammates, will leave you immediately if there’s a 1% chance of winning a ring on a different team. If the US wasn’t in the gold medal final he’d be applying for visas.

I understand being championship-focused is a defining trait of pro athletes but instead of improving himself to fit a team, he just hits the road. Might be the first hall of famer to wear a blank jersey.

Even with all his ring chasing and elite ability, he’s not going to retire with more than kobe or mj or bron (tbf bron was also a ring chaser, just with more individual talent).

    Also he’s bald.

  19. LOL guys of course KD has to think that

The fact that he immediately left GS after winning tells you all you need to know about how he looks back at his time there
