  1. Vegas isn't going to be a good team this season, but they still have a great shot at a playoff spot, because there are only two good teams in the Pacific division. In fact, three of the eight teams are not even trying to make the playoffs this year and three would be considered wildcard teams in any other division.

Both Vegas and LA got worse in the off season while Seattle got better. Any of the teams could earn that third playoff spot, but I think there is a real chance whichever team does will earn fewer points than the second WC team earns.

  2. This team definitely lost some talent and depth. It wouldn't surprise me if they go full aggressive at the deadline and piss everyone off doing so. Pacific isn't strong, so I think they're an easy playoff team. 3rd in the Pacific with 93-98 points.

  3. Third or fourth in the Pacifc. Yeah, maybe behind Utah. I think Eichel is overrated. He's good, but not a top12 forward. Defense and goaltending will help Vegas be better than they really are.

  4. I am a huge fan of Lukas Cormier. I watched him alot in The QMJHL for The Charlottetown Islanders. I hope he gets a chance this season, especially since its his last season of his ELC.

  5. Eichel is top 10 in the league in terms of talent. He should be a 90+ point player, though. I consider him a top 20 forward who should be higher, but his overall production is less than it should be.
