  1. Broderick needs to go back to LT and we need fautanu at RT next week. I also can’t wait to see roman wilson back next week. I feel like having jones at his natural position and fautanu in there will be the o line alottttttttt better next week when we play personally.

  2. I know it’s just preseason but I saw zero things on offense to be excited about.

  3. Trade for a backup RT so BroJo never plays there again. His career will get ruined at this rate if we keep this bullshit up

  4. Can’t believe the Steelers are going into the season with this receiving core. Just rebuild if you want to do this

  5. Offensive line is a concern and nobody can complain they haven’t heavily invested into it. No Aiyuk and teams are gonna stack the box and double Pickens.

  6. The only thing I’ll say is this…last year we looked unstoppable in the pre season and it meant nothing. I wouldn’t put a ton of energy into this one. My biggest concern(s) is Jaylens hamstring and Broderick Jones looking like he belongs back in college.

  7. – Cameron Johnson
    – Scotty Miller
    – Nick Herbig
    – Miles Killebrew

These guys all stood out to me as having good games

  8. I just want an offense that looks like they practice during the week. Too many years of teams being unprepared. Practices must be half ass’d.

  9. Here comes another season of a 5-12 team somehow going 9-8 and getting a wildcard spot.

  10. My takeaways.

O-Line: Bad. I never want to see Broderick Jones at RT again.

QB: Neither Fields nor Wilson seems great, but I’d rather have Fields start.

Special Teams: Bill Burr looks amazing, and it seems like the Boswell miss was an anomaly.

Defense: A little concerned over rushing yards given up, but they had a pick, multiple sacks, and only gave up 9 points with no TJ. Defense will be fine.

We all know from last year that preseaon results don’t mean much, but its really difficult to look at this team and be optimistic.

  11. We could have gotten a backup qb that can throw better than Fields and not wasted a draft pick in a trade.

  12. At least we finally have a punter after enduring the terrible Jordan Berry and PH3 era

  13. I know Broderick jones looks atrocious, but just to calm everybody down a little over this preseason game…

This is a completely rebuilt offensive line with a new OC that doesn’t want to show too much in the preseason. They WILL get a lot better as the year goes on. Also, the player who I anticipate being this teams best lineman, Troy Fautanu is not playing.

Yes, jones might end up being a bust long term. But let’s not get all panic-y about this line over a couple preseason games

  14. I think folks are gonna read too much into preseason, just as much as they did last season. Obviously it’s a disappointing showing but we aren’t hopeless just yet, lot of football to be played.
