Y'all, Manager of the Year Oliver Jose Marmol and his St. Louis Cardinals (the GREATEST team in the league) ARE TRIUMPHANT and PROVE they're the MOST HOT SQUAD since All-Star Break. We are going 100-62, TAKING that NL Central, MAKING the postseason once again and after Game 4 October 29, HOISTING a TWELFTH World Series championship!
In the bottom of the first inning, a teammate gets the offense going with an RBI single to center field, driving in Alec Michael Burleson.
Alec Michael Burleson, HOLY GUACAMOLE !!!! In the bottom of the third inning, the 25-year-old from Charlotte, North Carolina DEMOLISHES a ball to right field, bringing in Masyn Blaze Winn. That had to have PLOPPED on the Missouri-Illinois state line!
UNDISPUTED Rookie of the Year Award winner Masyn Blaze Winn, KABOOM … In the bottom of the fifth inning, the 22-year-old from Katy, Texas, BLASTS a bomb to center field. Someone go check the Mississippi River for that ball!
OH BABY … What a FILTHY #SCTOP10 double play in the top of the seventh inning as second baseman Nolan Brian Gorman FIRED to shortstop Masyn Blaze Winn who then HURLED to co-Most Valuable Player of the League first baseman Paul Edward Goldschmidt. That SHOWS the STL is not only the best offensively, but defensively, too!
Co-MVP Nolan James Arenado, GOOD GOLLY MISS MOLLY … In the bottom of the eighth inning, the 33-year-old from Newport Beach, California SEALS the victory with a NUKE to left field. Hope the traffic on Clark Avenue avoided that one!
