You can’t tell me Bam/Yabusele wouldn’t be a great duo if Bam has to play the 5 in some lineups.

I don’t think we have the cap space to do so
It would be unwise to go over the 2nd apron just to play him behind Jovic and Haywood. He hasn’t played in the NBA in five years.
With K Love, Jovic, Jimmy, and a few others, I don’t even think we’d be able to find minutes for him regardless
Cause cap space/luxury, roster space , and the risk of his game not translating well into the NBA.
He wants to play for a contender
Random player pop off in the Olympics everytime, it doesn’t mean they are NBA talent
It feels like Philly has infinite cap space, they have been active. And once again, the second apron continues to be this front office’s father
I’m old enough to know , every Olympics there is a guy like this. Pops off in international play, fanbases clamor to sign him , only for the guy to be out the league in 2 years
How is it that people on this sub still do not understand the Heat does not want to go over the 2nd apron?
Do we really have to cry over every mediocre free agent another team signs?
How does this have 10 upvotes? Swear to god, some of you just want a shiny new toy to play with every other week. Everyone wanted to sign every summer league guy a month back, then people were upset we didn’t sign Tyus Jones, now this?
And you can’t tell me that the Bam / Yabusele combo is in any way worth going into the 2nd apron for
First cap space. Secondly they now have a good amount of PFs/Centers. Bam, Love, Ware, Jovic, & Bryant. A team coached by Spo won’t have more than two, maybe three big men in a rotation come playoff time. He’s stubborn when it comes to bigs
Because we need to keep our powder dry to go after Ant in 4 years. Or Cooper Flag 8 years. And fail at both. Hey Riley, a very old man recently quit his job when the world saw he was unable to do it anymore and the people on his team seem to be flourishing. Take the hint old man. imagine being upset we didn’t go get **Guerschon Yabusele** (was out-of-the-league before his rookie-scale deal expired, had a career-best game of 16/5/1, is regularly lauded as one of the worst busts in the ’16 Draft class, had two good Olympic games) because the **Philadelphia 76ers wanted him** (notorious eyes for talent up there, with their 2023 FA class of Pat Bev, Montrezl Harrell, Filip Petrusev and Mo Bamba being OOTL, OOTL, OOTL and in LA).

what the fuck is OP talking about? Bam is a 5! he doesn’t play the 5 in *some* lineups, he plays the 5 in … all lineups! because he’s a 5!

I thought his buyout was 2.5 million. Doesn’t that mean he would make more overseas??

I still don’t know how we have cap space issue where we had to let Martin walk and couldn’t sign anyone, yet Boston resigned everyone and have like 3 max contracts.
