If Robertson doesn’t fit on the 2nd line and PP unit then trade him. He’s got a great shot and he’s quick but also undersized and often injured. I’d trade him.

I think Leafs fans value Nick Robertson more than any GM. He would be a throw in on any significant trade but I don't believe the Leafs have the cap space or the assets without NMCs to make a major trade at this time. If Tavares can be persuaded to go on LTIR prior to the trade deadline, Robertson could be part of a trade package.
Robertson needs to understand that the Leafs are a deep team offensively. Now it's his time

Watch Matthews 69 goals. Then tell me how many of them were primary assists by Marner. Trading Marner makes no sense. When they can clearly keep him and he under the salary cap. They should let J.T. walk or resign him for cheap for the rest of his career. He was overpaid his whole contract. He was supposed to play with Marner. When he did along with Hyman they were pretty much the 1st line. Then After that he was basic. If his Contract was so expensive. It would've been a good deal and the others wouldn't have asked and got so much. He was the first to sign and get overpaid and under perform. He was never captain material.
They need a top 6 forward preferably if not a top 9
That doesn’t mean it will be a huge trade, trade yes but I doubt not a big one
