This is me pretty much exactly. Except, not for maybe the obvious reason.
I am very excited to see Rattler continue to grow, I think there is a not zero chance he could be legit. So very excited to see him out there today.
On the other hand, I actually quite like Carr, and im sad dude looking at rocks about it today because I know it is a no win scenario for him. He either plays well and it all gets waved off as meaningless preseason, or he plays poorly and we have the worst QB in the history of the game on the message boards from now until the regular season starts.
Not looking forward to that. I almost wish he wouldn’t play, but I know he needs to because getting in the reps in practice time is more important than fan perception on Reddit.
