The previous rankings are messed up. We actually made it up to 5th last week but somehow got surpassed by the Guardians again after sweeping them lol.
Power Rankings exist for 1 reason: to generate clicks. This means they will intentionally do stuff like this to get people talking and posting about it. So other people will get upset and click/talk about it.
Just don’t bother looking at them.
I don’t read power rankings in any professional sport. They don’t add anything and are purely for clicks.
Honestly the problem is that the Brewers have not performed well into the “good” non-NLC teams: – 0-3 into Phillies – 3-4 into Dodgers – 0-3 into Yankees – 1-3 into Padres – 1-2 into Astros
They are winners into: – 3-0 into Cleveland – 2-1 into Baltimore – 3-1 into Minnesota – 2-1 into Seattle – 4-2 into Atlanta
That’s a combined 19-20 into division leaders/runners-up.
Meanwhile they’ve dropped some stinkers into the likes of Washington, Colorado, etc. I’m looking to see how they handle the late-season Diamondbacks yet to realy form an opinion of just how good this team is
People in Wisconsin get so worked up about national media takes. You have the option to simply not care. I promise you’ll be better off for it.
Power rankings are just entertainment meant to foster discussion. Getting mad about them or getting happy about them is literally what they are for. It’s just some dude’s opinion. Have fun either way.

Power rankings are garbage.
