  1. IMO letting Holloway walk would be a big mistake. Broberg could possibly be replaced but our third line takes too much of a hit with no Kane unless Savoie really shows up.

  2. I think they let both walk and accept the picks. The picks they get back are better than what they gave up in the trades. They'll be fine during the season and can use the picks to bolster at the deadline.

  3. They have replaced them and will them go. Because they are going to need tos of cap space the next two years to sign three players at a cost of around 40 million cap hit every year. That doesn't give you much cap to fill out the team.

  4. If Kane goes on LTIR until Christmas who gets traded? Oilers aren't matching and removing those two from the oilers site proves it.

Podz literally has to stay up or go through waivers. The oilers are supposed to be better but he was literally 15th on our depth chart.

  5. I can't believe the mental gymnastics you guys are doing.

I would be shocked if a GM would use LTIR as a way to match when he won't be out all year.

Podz a guy I loved is not a calibre of NHL standards.

Your defense could likely lose your entire right side if you include Vinny.

You guys realize how bad that is right?

Lastly you guys expecting to get a top four dman when other teams especially Vancouver will have five million

  6. As a Blues fan, Doug Armstrong last week woke up and declared war on Edmonton. I’m assuming we are no longer friends if nothing happened by 7:29 am mountain time.

  7. I have faith in Knoblauch and the coaching staff. He’s proven that, if the players buy into an effective team system, you don’t need the whole lineup to be top talent. Training camp could reveal some potential surprises.
