  1. I think they're strongly considering moving in from Houston. The only thing is, they know Houston has the ability to beat teams starting O-line. So they also may keep him for that reason. Despite his sack last week, I don't feel Betts looks that impressive. He got a sack against backups. Really doesn't mean he's better than what Houston brings, even if it is a one trick

  2. 72 views after three minutes. Slipping boss. Lol. I dont mind ANY effort to improve. Just keep options open and get your guys if they work. Camp body or insurance, either way, diamonds can be found in trash piles. Who knows. Go Lions!

  4. honestly i think the moves were making are smart in the sense that were looking to stack up that practice squad, we didnt last year, and then we had those key injuries on the dline in the beginning of the year then late in the year and struggled hard trying to find guys that could plug and play. I think were just trying to figure that all out now, maybe one of those guys flashes during practices like houston did two years ago.

  5. The lions have a lot of cap space to sign a bunch of smaller contracts. Maybe Rodrigo is hurt, or adding quality players to our depth. If these players make it to practice squad, wouldn’t any other team have to pay these recently sign players at least what the Lions are paying them? Maybe we are signing them for more money so other teams are less tempted to take them off of our practice squad call

  6. I don't like it. Just go get some players in the NFL. Too cheap to get the players you need. Try to get cheap with all these UFL players hoping one would pan out. There is a reason why they were not in the NFL. I don't like it.

  7. Abraham Beauplan and Ty Summers were both camp bodies thrown in there and they both did extremely well – had really high PFF scores anyways.
    Diamonds in the rough perhaps?

  9. LB Malik Jefferson was injured in Saturday's games against KC, and LB Malcolm Rodriguez has been out injured for several weeks. This has nothing to do with the edge position they are off-ball.
