That sounds fairly accurate tbh, give or take a couple spots.
But I have been told multiple times that he’s not a true number one center, how can this be possible
16th is impressive! Can’t wait to see Suzuki climb even higher this season!
Damn that’s huge, feels like he’s been underrated his entire career but can’t say that anymore. Glad he’s getting the recognition!
Seems fair.
Superior Captain!
Can we see top20/top30?
Gonna be beautiful when he hands the cup off to Gally.
The end of the FIRST half. He wins, we win!!!
That would make him a no.1 C on most teams.
Absolutely right on point. There aren’t many centers on that list that have as little support as Suzuki has had over the past several years. Maybe Larkin. He’s an ironman, 2 way minute munching machine.
Sens fans are so mad about this LOL
Ya makes sense
Seems about right. Think he keeps climbing as the Habs become more and more competitve.
I feel like Suzuki’s most underappreciated value is his consistency. He hasn’t missed a game in his professional career. I’m pretty sure I read or saw an interview of his mother saying that he hasn’t missed a game since he was 15 years old. That’s wild. I couldn’t imagine this team if he missed time like most of the team has.
He’s the captain of the most storied franchise in league history, is the engine that forces the offense out of a team that has had a terrible history of being offensively challenged. He also deals with a market that’s extraordinarily hard on their players. And he’s 25……. 16th is still low.
Yeah, he’s pretty good at this hockey thing.
If/when MTL can get a legit 2nd scoring line going and Suzuki doesn’t have to play against the oppositions best players all the time, he is going to do well for himself.
Finally, a sliver of recognition!
Doesn’t make sense. He has as many Stanley Cups as Auston Matthews.
Perennially underrated.
When he surpasses PPG this coming season (my bet is ~95pts) the League will finally understand just how good he is. With a full season centering Caufield and Slafkovsky, a 30g/60a season is not out of the question for him.
That’s a weird way to say #1
I dunno if he’s a number 1 centre..just not sure at all.
