  1. I was hoping starters wouldn’t play.

You’re not going to get anything beneficial out of some extra reps in the final preseason game.

    AOC should be playing.

  2. I don’t agree with this, if Farva is the back up then he needs reps to develop and if the 3rd qb needs to be used in a game this season is over anyway.

  3. Not experienced enough to be the starter AND you’re going to deprive him of game experience with the new OC…. Not a fan

  4. I just like guys with two first names. Or, in this case, possibly just reversed names? Brad Carter sounds so much more probable than Carter Bradley?

  5. Actually thought Bradley had a fast release and threw a good ball from what little we saw.

  6. I like the decision.

If AP is putting Minshew as the starter, then it’s at least a consistent philosophy. I’ve said as far back as the end of last year that it’s very possible O’Connell’s ceiling is “reliable journeyman backup” and I’m guessing that this coaching staff feels the same.

Carter was interesting to watch. He had a fast release and showed zero fear in making the throws he did. If he could clean up his accuracy he could be an intriguing QB.

  7. Completely meaningless game for anyone who is already going to make the team. Final preseason game is pointless other than determining who makes the final cutdown, and practice squad.

The only exception is if someone *badly* needs reps. Aiden doesn’t badly need reps.

  8. So what does everyone think for next draft time if everyone we have in charge is still around? Do you think raiders will draft a qb, trade for one, or have aoc/minshew start again? I know its far too early, but i wonder what the scenario will be. If aoc goes in again and plays well, will they still draft a qb? If he comes in and isnt good enough, what happens?

  9. Aidan isn’t professional grade and never was.

He should enjoy his NFL salary for as long as he can get it and hit up Marques Tuiasosopo for tips on how to hold the clipboard.
