Just gonna drop some of my favorite plays from the Tannehill era because I think he gets far too much hate based on 2023 and that 2021 playoff game. He brought this franchise back from the dead when he took over for Mariota in week six of 2019. We were 1-4 but finished the season 9-7, eliminated Tom Brady’s Patriots in the Wild Card, curb-stomped the Ravens in the Divisional and came devastatingly close to making it to the Super Bowl (but Mahomes will be Mahomes). He lead us to an 11-5 record in 2020, and the #1 seed in 2021. Age caught up to him for sure, but I’ve seen so many fans act like he was always a bad QB and it just isn’t even remotely true. I consider him one of the franchise’s best QBs, alongside McNair and Moon.
He played with his heart on his sleeve every snap, and I’ll appreciate him forever. Thanks for everything, Ryan 🩵
I looked him up on the Internet, and there’s a few teams that are interested in him as back up because the preseason games their back up quarterbacks didn’t do very good.
I think Tannehill wants to start though.
Right now he’s just sitting on his millions of dollars in no huge rush, waiting to see what happens.
I actually hope he ends up on the Lions and gets one of those rings.
I love Tanny and always will but gosh dang I miss Ben jones lining up under center… I hope Cush can fill that shoeless void I’ve had in my heart the last couple of years
