bulls intro 90’s (best ever)

There is no other intro I have ever heard in all of sports that comes close to the coolness factor of the Bulls intro. I was 12 years old during the Jordan era and i am curious if anyone else was like me, every time the NBA Finals came on, I remembered to have my VCR ready to record that awesome intro. I remember that summer of 1998 after the bulls won their 6th straight title, I watched that intro over and over and over again on my VCR tape, even showed it to some of my friends. Anyone else do this? That intro was like the best part of the game for me. When that intro came on, it was like the Bulls already won the game.

I used to be a sonics fan living in seattle when the 1996 bulls played them, and even rooting against the bulls, that intro that played almost made me want to root for the bulls instead. The temptation was too much, that a year later, I was all in and became a bulls fan for life. That intro, Michael Jordan, Pippen, and the awesome rugged city of Chicago, man, quite possibly the coolest team in sports, I can't think of any other team that is better than the jordan led bulls.

here is my favorite intro and year here, 1998.

  1. I’m right there with you. I was a kid then and thought it was the coolest shit ever. I got to go to a game in 97 and burst into tears when I saw the lights go down and heard the music starting lol. I still get chills when I hear it.

  2. The Stadium was the best, couldn’t even hear anything after “From North Carolina…” and the upper deck rafters would literally shake.

  3. I’m from New Zealand and missed so much school watching the nba finals! Was nothing like it and still isn’t.
NBA games start around lunchtime here normally fyi

  4. Mike was already retired by the time I was first introduced to him as a kid, but regardless, no matter how many pro games I’ve watched on tv, no other team’s intro gave me the chills like the 90’s Bulls. I live nowhere near Chicago, but it’s got all of my love.

  5. This is the song I play for my girls softball team when we announce the batting order and lineup. The kids love it
