Would I be crazy to wear it rather than framing it? It wasn't super expensive so I'm not worried about the value of it, but obviously I'd like to protect the signature as best I can.

I definitely recommend you frame that and keep it prestine since say day f’n one.
Go ahead and put it back in the box and mail it to my house sounds like a pretty solid idea!
