  1. Pedro tell me how are we going to be better who is out there that is better than jahan in camp. I don't like this trade make him play out his rookie contract atleast right.

  2. Dyami wasn’t used right. Maybe they have a major plan for him. But the compensation is low. But with BA not getting signed maybe they’re freeing up space for him next year

  3. It's essentially a 3rd for dotson. Perhaps the coaches saw dotson vs sanistril in the slot enough to feel good about that match up if they have to play it vs. a rival. It's not a great deal compensation wise because philly has never made a deal where they don't get the better end of it. They know their 3rd is more like a 4th because it will be at the bottom of the round and the 5th they get from washington will be near the top of the round

  4. In Adam Peters I trust… to get a 3rd for Dotson is pretty savvy, especially for a guy that was looking mighty soft last year and this preseason. I'm a fan of the move – it's what the shrewd teams do. Get something for a player that doesn't figure into your plans in the future now while they still have some perceived value.

  5. Pedro,
NO AGAIN to Aiyuk. NO NO NO.
We are now going to look for another LT. We are #2 on the waiver wire so having a vacancy is a great idea.

  6. 3rd rounder and two 7th seventh rounders. Worth it imo
I like Dotson but he hasn't been highly productive, just some flashes
and it may not have been completely his fault it didn't work out (though my assumption with all players is once they get to the NFL that it's their responsibility to seize the opportunity and put in so much work that they remove all doubt.. hopefully for him as an individual, he gets it together in Philly.. hopefully for the success of the WFT in the NFC bEast he just is mid at best)
but he never turned out to be a Julian Edelman or Wes Welker in the previous systems (Scott Turner nor Eric Beiniemy)

it's a slot position and you just don't get a huge amount of production from that position, especially if you have a QB that spreads the ball around, then you maybe get 2-3 looks a game and gotta be a playmaker; at least move the chains.

Now you got Luke McCaffery recently drafted with some expectations and while it's too soon to know if he'll be better than Jahan, you got him and a veteran in Jamison Crowder (can be your punt returner) to compete with the rookie to make each other better and challenge for the starting position.

So you couldn't keep all three of those guys, and having just spent a draft pick on youngMC,
it's not that shocking they got Dotson out.

And kudos to the GM for actually getting something for him instead of cutting him for nothing
