  1. Ho hum another series W for the good guys. Cubbies rolling at the moment. Going to be a fun end of the season.

    Cubs rock.

  2. I still don’t understand how Justin Steele is so underrated. It’s insane.

The bottom of the order really carried the Cubs today. Love to see that.

I’m so glad Neely quickly got a chance to put his debut in the past. Well done, young man. Welcome to the show.

  3. Cards up by 3 on Brews in 9th right now, so second place won’t stick but still feels good.

  4. 8 strikeouts on a 92-93 mph four-seemer (10 total k’s).

    Velocity isn’t everything!

  5. Miguel Amaya really went from one of the worst hitting catchers in the league to above average over the course of the season. Crazy removing the leg kick from his swing immediately made that much of a difference

  6. Taking 2 out of 3 against other sub .500 teams isn’t going to help the Cubs in the Wildcard standings. The offense needs to step up on this road trip and consistently score runs the next 9 games

  7. Gotta give some props to Amaya. Dude went from being absolutely abysmal with the bat to being much much more productive. Crazy how one mechanical tweek can make such a difference.

  8. Alright, hear me out — when Javy plays the Cubs win, so we need to get him back and our problems are solved!

  9. Well, I’m not bummed that the Tigers lost to you guys, but the joy of my friend at the game and singing “Go Cubs Go” when it was done was awesome.

You guys have done a great job with the Friendly Confines, and to finally be able to go there was worth the over a year wait.
