  1. Hector should have realized the grass isn’t greener on the other side. Team chemistry is hard to replicate somewhere else. As for Tucker, I’ll believe it when we see him return to the lineup. Playing these young guys now is a preview of what life may look like if Breggy and Tucker leave. If we didn’t have that atrocious Abreu contract, we could have had a free agent 1st baseman until we developed our own player in the minors.

  2. Neris is obviously a good pickup. Hopefully Pressly will get back and Neris can get the walks under raps. But these injuries are bad. They have no bats at this point. They needed to get a first baseman at the deadline. Even if he was Singelton offensively but a good defender, they needed something. Ideally of course you want a better hitter than that, but they didn't have much to offer. Bottom line they need no more injuries and they need Bregman and Tucker back because after the that they have nothing. Reminds me of the Ausmus Everett pitcher days on steroids.

  3. Neris hasn't been spectacular this season so hopefully the Astros will get him back into form.
The injury bug has been so bad this season, getting back to the ALCS would be a huge testament to what this team is able to overcome.
