GM Chris Young confirmed to The Dallas Morning News on Thursday that Rocker, who has allowed one run in 19 2/3 innings since joining Double-A Frisco, will move to Triple-A Round Rock for his next start.
Meanwhile, Rocker’s college chum, Leiter, is expected to join the Rangers rotation, perhaps as early as the next turn of the rotation.

Excited to see Leiter getting another run at it. He’s been tearing it up at RR. I expect he’ll improve his results from last time

“I want to see myself do that for sure,” Rocker said of facing hitters a third time. “It’s exactly what I want. I want to be pushed a little bit, poked and prodded. That’s part of it. I want to learn from it.”
