  23. My thinking, maybe not so much with Scott, but with Velus that could’ve been a potential “dangle him out there” type move to see if he has trade value. It seems they have a spot for Homer already so y would u keep an experimental RB on the roster who’s only good moving laterally? My take atleast. He was already on the outs, which is y they tried him at halfback to begin with. I can’t see them keeping him as rb 5. The only other instance that has worked has been Corrderelle Patterson and he’s way more inept as a runner than Velus

If Booker is the second best pass rusher WHAT IN THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THAT ? isnt this what you want from the guys you bring in to EXCELL ….let the man play maybe you dont have to look for someone else you may already have him and yes we know he is not experienced but how do you get that…BY PLAYING

  30. Austin Booker is giving off those Mark Anderson vibes when he came out as a rookie right away. However I hope Booker has a much more lengthier and isn't a one season sack master, then disappear. I don't think so cause Booker looks like a monster and his motor just doesn't stop. Him and Daniel Hardy imo should get the other DE spot, cause Walker has not impressed me in the least dating back to last year. I gotta feeling that a lot of teams are just going to overlook Booker in game planning at first saying ah fifth round pick out of Kansas, let's just focus on the established monster Sweat. Only to find out that was a huge mistake during their game plan when #94 racks up multiple sacks in Week 1.

    Who can't wait for the next 16 days to fly by? Me neither!!!!

  32. Jones Jr doing that against 4th and 5th stringers in the last quarter of a preseason game means nothing. He doesn’t bring anything to the team, we have depth at RB and at WR. Should’ve been cut a long time ago

  33. who cares about tyler scott, the challenge is how are we beating GB and this league with a rookie qb that the media INCLUDING HARRISON has brainwashed us is the best option at qb against a fierce NFC NORTH!! If mahomes can sit a yr he should as well! if CW plays 90 percent of games we go 8-9 OUT OF THE PLAYOFFS!

  34. Velus can fill in several places if injuries occur. I think he's being eyed as a utility threat on offense and special teams. The opposing defense must respect his speed and athleticism regardless of where the Bears line him up. I actually think Velus has done enough to make this team and I think he will contribute this year. This is not what I had expected starting preseason.

  39. Velus got so much work tonight at rb because the new kickoff rules makes the returner more like a rb so all these reps today were really practice for when he returns kickoffs as the Bears number 1 kickoff return man
