  1. I am so happy to see this dude off the main roster – He was a heart attack every outing and I never felt comfortable with him in the game.

Haven’t forgiven him for the blown loss against the Angels and definitely wasn’t happy to see him look at Mendoza last night hoping he’d pull him from the game to save his ass like no dude clean up your mess

Cya Brazobum (but really hope he figures out in AAA and does well in future.)

  2. Brazobans no good for the weekend at minimum anyway

Now whether he’s up in September is TBD

  3. I really do appreciate management’s willingness to reward performing players, regardless of cost or circumstances.

  4. Makes sense after how much he threw. We have Brozoban under control through 2028 (if he hasn’t retired by then) and he has two options still after this year.

It’s unlikely when we traded for him that wasnt the major factor. For this and the next two seasons he can come up and down as needed

  5. Diaz, Nunez, butto and Maton are the reliables. Stanek and Garrett as the somewhat reliables. Young as the Lefty specialist. And ottavino as the unreliable. Bring up A Young, on september 1st, everyone with options’ job is on the line w Brazoban as likely to come back up if he figures AAA out

  6. As long as Núñez pitches like he did before injury, this bullpen might be able to hold some games before Diaz.

Butto’s been a great long reliever. Danny Young has been serviceable. Maton has a 1.72 ERA in 16 appearances as a Met. Hopefully Gage is ready to be promoted; that’ll be nice to have another LHP in the pen.

Garrett is so hit or miss, Stanek has been a disappointment, and don’t get me started on Otto…

  7. Pretty wild. Brazoban was supposedly our ‘big’ deadline acquisition.

He has been struggling, only a few guys have option years left and he was one of them, so the move makes some sense.

I’m sure he’ll be back at some point.

  8. Ok I gotta think Brazoban will replace Ottavino in a few days since he wouldn’t be available tonight right?

  9. Figured. Brazobán had 36 pitches last night and also been struggling, we got 6 big games still left to cover and are gonna need every fresh arm. He will be back in September.
