  1. Such a great game.

Our bullpen is filthy right now and the bats are cooking. It’s a good day to be a Cubs fan.

  2. Lol the guy with 7 BB/9 in AAA and the guy who got DFAd because he is ESL and some reporter misunderstood him are the backend of our bullpen and they’ve been phenomenal. Ridiculous year.

  3. i just checked the Mets and Braves schedule for the rest of the season and it’s looking pretty tough. if we can keep winning, we might be able to catch them

  4. I felt it was only a matter of time till we got a 4 bagger like that one, Dude flew, and the slide looked like he was in the air for a long while with the superman dive.

  5. If El Kangri can be a league average catcher for this team that’s huge. That’s the only position we aren’t league average at.

  6. PCA, Amaya, and Happ again.

Paredes coming up with the big go-ahead knock was great for him and the team. We haven’t really seen what a big piece of the offense he can be. I hope he can turn the corner for the final stretch.

Miller didn’t have it tonight, but the rest of the bullpen did a fantastic job. Again.

  7. I’ll never forget how many people on this sub thought PCA would be a bust after 100 MLB at bats

  8. Who would’ve guessed that Miguel amaya would be the teams hottest hitter after the all star break

  9. It’s really too bad that Amaya and PCA were released seven times each like r/chicubs demanded
