  1. One of the worst losses of the year.

I literally went from 🙂 to ☹️ in less than a fraction of a second.

  2. It’s not often you can pin a loss on one individual player, but that L is 100% on Abreu.

  3. Not likely going to put up 5 again tomorrow without yordan if hes still out.

Abreu and espada choked the game

  4. It’s been a while since we’ve had an epic bullpen meltdown like that lol.

Idk who our defense coach is, but we really need to look at him in the off-season. Multiple games where we just fuck up in the most stupid ways possible.

    Just get em tomorrow.

  5. Well it took one of the worst relief outings in baseball history to take us down so we’ve got that going for us I guess?

Need the Framboozler tomorrow to put them back down from this high

  6. I seriously believe we were lied to about this Orioles bullpen. Everyone has been saying it’s been the worst bullpen in August and honestly I haven’t seen that. Our hitters can’t produce any runs and all I see are flyouts.

  7. I haven’t been this pissed off after a loss since the ‘19 World Series. This was a winnable game with a halfway decent bullpen arm and Bryan Abreu decided we didn’t need the W tonight.

  8. Definitely our worst loss since June. Abreu forgets how to pitch, forgets how to field (TAKE THE GUARANTEED OUT YOU DUMB FUCK) and chokes away the game.

Also caritini with the bad ABs with RISP that shouldn’t have mattered but ended up mattering a lot.

I guess we know why they leave Abreu in the 7th normally, even if that means dealing with stressly.

We better win tomorrow and at least split the series.

  9. Really hard loss, all we can do is kick their asses the next 2 games. We’ve won 4 out of 5 games against them (3 earlier this season); let’s make it 6 out of 7.

  10. Well, at least Hunter pitched a good game.

I don’t have anything good to say about Abreu right now.

  11. Espada probably should’ve had a quicker hook tonight, but ultimately it’s on Abreu to not play like a dumbass and give away outs/runs. Still, Abreu is not a “bum” and Espada does not need to be fired. People fuck up. They’ve also been winning *way* more than they’ve been losing for several months now. They have the best record in baseball minus April. Everyone chill the fuck out

  12. Well that sucks…

But it’s ok. We’re ok. It’s baseball. This shit happens. Bounce back boys!

  13. Honestly all you can do is laugh. Could have been a strikeout on the first batter then it was just a combination of bad luck and questionable decision making. Hell the grand slam came on a pitch that was well above the zone. Baseball is a bitch sometimes.

  14. When all is said and done, we blew it tonight. Let’s win the next 2. We sweep them in a 3 game series earlier this year. All have a safe & good night.

  15. Dude it sucks it hurts but this is baseball… abreu has been sitting idle for 6 days, players have to be in rhythym

  16. Meh abreu imploded and that’s basically it. Team did play well even though we probably should have had at least 6. Took them hitting a grand slam in the 8th to win. Would at least like to split the series.

At least it’s not one of those loses where there are so many issues you can’t point to anything specific.

  17. [Altuve Post Game Interview](https://x.com/brianmctaggart/status/1827169347355173004?s=46)

Abreu made a boneheaded mistake to not go for the double play there. Some of you guys saying f this team , fire Espada, and Abreu is a bum are ridiculous. He has been one of our best relievers. He had an off night. I am just as disappointed as all of you about this loss, but that’s baseball. We win the next two and forget this game ever existed. Go Giants!
