The Atlantic is nuts, could happen
1. z- Toronto
2. x- Florida
3. x- Boston
4. x- Montreal
5. Tampa Bay
6. Detroit
7. Ottawa
8. Buffalo
Has the person running the account been drinking G&Ts with Mother Nature?!
Ottawa at 4 is the shocking one, but this division is so nuts, that honestly would not surprise me
I can see Boston and TB regressing this year. But… I don’t see Ottawa that high.
Florida
Leafs
Wings
Boston
Montreal
Tampa
Ottawa
Buffalo
1. z- Florida 2. x- Toronto 3. x- Tampa Bay 4. x- Montreal 5. Ottawa 6. Boston 7. Detroit 8. Buffalo
Maybe? I do agree that putting us last is quite LOL.
I’ve got 1. Florida Panthers 2. Boston Bruins 3. Tampon Bay Lightning 4. Toronto Maple Leafs wc1 5. Ottawa Senators wc2 6. Detroit Red Wings 7. Buffalo Sabres 8. Montreal Canadiens
Buffalo had a behemoth of a defense, a goalie who can stop pucks but an underwhelming offense. I do think there’s a fair chance of finishing ahead of them.
Ottawa has added exactly what they were missing in Ullmark. They’re having Pinto for a full year this time and added Perron so their offense should be better distributed and they have an ok defensive core. I do think they edge us because of how many points Ullmark will steal.
Detroit …. Yzerman is playing his job this year. Their defense is abysmal at best, they could bring up Berggren and Kasper to smooth out the offense but their goaltending is iffy. On the bright side their PP should be excellent with Vladdy and Kaner. I firmly assume Steevy’s making a move to cool his seat early in the season, lots of prospects so picks could be dealt. We could be ahead but these guys are always sneaky good for some reason.
The rest is in another league. As is tradition every preseason, everyone’s thinking everything goes 100% our way no hiccups. Cole scores 35, Laine’s back to being a 2OA pick and puts 40 in, Dach is fully healthy and shows 0 sign of rust even tho he basically hasn’t played regular in over 16 months and everyone takes a step forward. Bam we’re in the playoffs. But realistically we’ll likely still be fighting in that second tier of the Atlantic for one more year.
IMO:
1. z-Florida
2. x-Maple Lafs
3. x-Boston
4. x-Tampa
5. x-Ottawa
6. Montreal
7. Detroit
8. Buffalo
The fact that he places OTT in 3th place to look unbiased is perfect.
Montreal is incredibly hard to measure because we lost 27 games last year by only one goal. With Slaf, Caufield, Dach and Laine taking a step forward like we all hope, all bets are off
TBH, if Buffalo and Detroit end the season behind Montreal, they should fire everyone.
If we could add a top 4 dman, say in a trade for one of our many young Dmen plus a pick, we could easily be a playoff contender.
With 4 Dmen with under 100 games experience it’s impossible
lol yeah because ***this*** is the Sens year
from 4-7 i could really see any of those teams changing places so this isn’t that crazy tbh
Tampa is gonna be worse and the other three have been very close in b2b seasons
The actual order will be Panthers Boston Leaf Bay Habs Wing Sabre Sens
“Montreal Canadians” get lost
I don’t think any of the atlantic teams will fall off a cliff this season, and Ottawa, Buffalo and Detroit have all improved.
The Atlantic is looking like a monster division this year.
Our opening night lineup for october 2027 will include (and I’m going to say Laine resigns).

Our opening night lineup for october 2027 will include (and I’m going to say Laine resigns).
Suzuki, Caufield, Slaf, Demidov, Laine, Dach, Newhook, Roy, Hage
That is 3 complete lines
On D it’s Guhle, Hutson, Reinbacher, Mailloux, Struble, Xhek and Engstrom/Barron
That is a formidable looking forward and D group.
I like the developing underdog story.
Sens fans might be becoming as delusional as leaf fans .
Bruh, Ottawa is poorly run and a dog shit franchise.
We’re in.
They were battling us for 5OA and were supposed to be contenders. Fuck Ottawa
I’m pretty sure we are going to send this entire division into a rebuild sooner than later
Boston isn’t good enough to win the division and Id bet money on that.
