This summer has just been filled with positivity for Habs fans. It’s the most fun I’ve had being a Habs fan since 93. The finals run was great but we knew it was a one and done. This feels like the future of our franchise is set up so well.
Hold on… he got **BIGGER** ??
If slaf comes back with the decent release and better shot he’s scoring 30+ easily

I consider myself a bit of a Slafvovsky truther…
I remember in late December early January last year he was just looking so capable of winning one on one battles, and even able to maintain positioning and the upper hand in one on two situations.
He also exhibited this ability to make passes to teammates out of those situations.
I honestly believe that with him controlling the pace and his ability to draw defenders onto him he’s gonna be the catalyst for Suzuki and Caufield both hitting career highs this year.
In Caufields case in particular I could honestly see him even hitting 40 if that line stays together all year and they have an okay power play.
